Standing for Truth
from the Beginning
The church has continued to build on the legacies of its predecessors, keeping God’s Word as the cornerstone of our life and ministry.
Every story begins somewhere, and the story of First Baptist Dallas began in 1868 with 11 members who chose to be faithful.
Built on the Bible
The Bible is the center and sole focus of First Baptist Dallas. Under its direction and influence, all other ministry takes place.
A Legacy of
Since 1868, First Dallas has experienced the blessing of strong, godly leadership. Three in particular have stood the test of time.
A Loving Family
First Baptist Dallas is a church family made of different parts and connected by our love for the Lord and our love for this church.
Investing in Our City
"The whole city of Dallas is the neighborhood of the First Baptist Church,” Dr. Criswell once said. Dallas is our Jerusalem, and we praise God for the opportunity to serve Him here.
